Wake up, eat, do homework, watch Netflix, muster up the motivation to work out, eat, Netflix, sleep.
Wake up, eat, Netflix, go for a walk, eat, read, sleep.
Wake up, Netflix, stretch, eat, Netflix, sleep.
Wake up, Netflix, Eat, Sleep.
Wakeup, Netflix, Sleep.
Wakeup….Sleep.
What day is it?
Last I checked it was Tuesday…phone says its Saturday. What’s the difference?
This isn’t necessarily how I’m living but I’ve heard stories of many who are. Losing motivation to workout. Lacking desire to eat anything that isn’t premade. Failing to keep in touch with those closest to us. Sitting in the same clothes all day, not shaving, not washing your face, forgetting what your goals and desires once were.
Don’t get lost in what feels like a perpetual weekend. These are not days to be wasted, to be spent lousy in bed swiping through social media or endlessly clicking “yes, I’m still watching.”
Start easy. Set a goal for yourself each day. Create a routine that gets you moving and gives you a purpose to NOT sit on your ass 24/7. Begin the day playing music, play it LOUD. It’s a fantastic way to get you going and remind you that you have legs under those blankets!!
At *insert time here* change into your favorite workout clothes get on youtube and find a yoga, ab or cardio workout to do. And when you’re done, sit and meditate on how great your body feels, how blessed you are to be able to work out the way you just did.
Working your body works your mind!!
These are NOT wasted days!! GET UP! AND KEEP GETTING AFTER IT….from home 🙂Â
